My name is Martin Rickard,

I am a L4 Sea Coach and the LCO for Shetland, where I am based and run courses throughout the year. For the past nine years I have been exploring the east coast of Greenland and during the last two have been specialising in guided trips based out of Ammassalik.

This is fantastic area to visit with lots of options for exploration and one I know extremely well.

I now have a fleet of kayaks and equipment permanently stored out there and run a couple of trips each summer. They have been very successful with several folk returning with their friends for another trip with me the following year.

I thought some of your members might be sea kayakers and interested in details of these Greenland expeditions - so many folk I talk to, say they wish they had known about them.
